Found a new favourite Japanese restarant hidden in Potts Point.
Warm atmosphere, tick; great food, tick; good service, tick; reasonably priced, tick. Extensive sake list and BYO wine, tick! What’s even cooler is the fact that this place opens 7 days week, including public holidays, with no public holiday surchage!
I went here with a group of 10 and had the $35 set course dinner. Most of the dishes were served for sharing between 3-4 people and although the serving size was a bit on the small side the variety of dishes we get makes up for it and we didn’t leave feeling hungry.
I got a bit distracted after the first few dishes so didn’t manage to capture some of the dishes- was busy munching away food :/. Was using my lousy camera phone so pictures weren’t that great either (I really do need a proper camera).
Anyway, my favourite dishes of the night was the sashimi platter (nice and fresh), the wagyu beef salad (no pic), the wagyu steak and the roast duck.
Didn’t get a chance to have any Sake cos we had 3 bottles of BYO wine so next time, I’ll heading out there especially for sake tasting….slurpp…
